About this list
This list records two kinds of actions, exclusions and suspensions, and it names both individuals and organizations. Ohio publishes the two groups in separate sections of the same file.
Ohio's file is one of the few state lists in our register that include dates of birth. That matters at review time. A date of birth gives the reviewer a second field to check against a roster entry, so candidate matches from Ohio can be confirmed or ruled out with more confidence than matches from lists that carry fewer identifying fields.
The Ohio Department of Medicaid publishes the list as an Excel workbook with two sheets. Updates arrive two to three times in a typical month and the schedule is irregular, so the interval between versions varies.
