About this list
This is a government-wide list. The extract records exclusion actions from federal awards and programs across agencies, and it carries fields for the excluding agency, the exclusion program, and an exclusion type. Records fall into four classifications: individuals, firms, special entity designations, and vessels. In the file verified in July 2026 there were 167,810 records in total: 132,611 individuals, 8,293 firms, 25,584 special entity designations, and 1,322 vessels. The extract contains active records only.
The record layout includes the full name with prefix and suffix, address fields, the SAM.gov Unique Entity ID, a SAM number, a CAGE code, and an NPI field. In the verified file, 18,806 records carried an NPI, and a cross-reference field held alternate names on 40,761 records. The extract does not include a date of birth field. That shapes review: a candidate match can be supported by an NPI when one is present, but most candidates rest on name and alias comparison and need more verification from the reviewer.
The General Services Administration publishes the extract each day as a comma-separated data file inside a ZIP archive. Most records show an indefinite termination date. There is no reinstatement column: when an exclusion ends, the record leaves the next daily file, and that removal is the extract's signal that a party has been de-listed.
